Best hotels in Troy
A shortlist of 4 hotels in Troy, from the riverside Courtyard by Marriott Albany Troy Waterfront to the Hilton Garden Inn Troy on Hoosick St. It suits couples, families and business travellers comparing where to base themselves in the city.
Staying in Troy
Troy is a historic city on the Hudson River, and the hotels on this shortlist sit in two different parts of it. The Courtyard by Marriott Albany Troy Waterfront is on River Street, down by the waterfront, while the Best Western Plus Franklin Square Inn Troy Albany is on One Fourth Street and the Hilton Garden Inn Troy is further out on Hoosick St. Gardner Farm Inn lies on Brunswick Rd, away from the city centre streets.
The mix of a riverside address, a downtown-style square and a main-road location means the choice comes down to what you want on your doorstep rather than to a single hotel district. Couples can lean towards the River Street setting, business travellers towards the Hoosick St hotel with its larger review base, and families towards whichever address keeps their days simplest. All four are 3-star properties, with guest ratings of 4.4, 4.3 and 4.2 where they are recorded.
